Marcus Gran's late challenge caught a AFC United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Gran helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Marcus Gran hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, AFC United's goalkeeper Frasco Esquivel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miran Burgič. With a little luck, AFC United's Frasco Esquivel got control of the ball when Sören Wennersten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sören Wennersten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Frasco Esquivel made a huge save. Tobias Lidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pirro Pereta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Pascal Simpson put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Frasco Esquivel. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save AFC United from getting a goal against them. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eleder Borrellino hit a great ball. Miran Burgič charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miran Burgič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tobias Lidman came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Edwin Ortiz. But to his dismay, Edwin Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Ortiz in the 37th minute of play forced Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Tobias Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Archibaldo Ahumada hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Miran Burgič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Samuel Kjellberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pirro Pereta in the 44th minute of play forced Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goalkeeper Tobias Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK defense, Pirro Pereta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Lidman. The Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Lidman should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Law stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Pirro Pereta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Lidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Simpson in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frasco Esquivel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Lidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Miran Burgič cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Frasco Esquivel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC United's Frasco Esquivel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Simpson in the 64th minute of play. Nardo Torrecilla hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Tobias Lidman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Law in the 68th minute. Pascal Simpson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Frasco Esquivel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after AFC United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christoffer Pihlgren took the corner. Christoffer Pihlgren made a great header on Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's corner, it was just that AFC United's Frasco Esquivel managed to reach the ball for a save. Balesio Leiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Lidman having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Law came free, but Tobias Lidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th play minute Pirro Pereta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tobias Lidman. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Miran Burgič managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Miran Burgič was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frasco Esquivel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Sundin.
