Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Etor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Blade King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasmine Kuch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Froila should have stopped the shot. Melbourne 007's Jasmine Kuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Cordeal in the 80th minute of play. Jasmine Kuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Dacio in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Paolo Jerano got a free kick in the 85th minute. Desiderio Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Rafael Cordeal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Malcolm Mcvey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Cordeal in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jasmine Kuch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fans cheered their team off the field, for while Melbourne 007 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
