Rogerio Abenda hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Casimiro Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demario Caceo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Casimiro Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giro Horduña in the 11th minute of play. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Giro Horduña scored to the left of an out of position Casimiro Abad, making the score, 1-0. In the 16th minute Demario Caceo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Casimiro Abad made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Giro Horduña took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Casimiro Abad to make any attempt to save it. Edwin Hurtado charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Hurtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Discípulos de Ayn Rand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Hurtado to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Carneiro spun around in front of the goal 22 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal. Casimiro Abad was a little too slow when Giro Horduña got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. Casimiro Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casimiro Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Soldevila in the 39th minute. In the 52nd minute, Giro Horduña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Abad was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 55 minutes into the match, Giro Horduña notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Casimiro Abad. Casimiro Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Casimiro Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demario Caceo in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Giro Horduña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Nacional's Gonzalo Carneiro made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 65 minutes, Giro Horduña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giro Horduña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Giro Horduña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Giro Horduña notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Casimiro Abad. Casimiro Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giro Horduña took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Abad. Casimiro Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Demario Caceo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Casimiro Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional. 79 minutes into the game, Aaron Abella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. The supporters of Nacional booed when Discípulos de Ayn Rand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Joel Soldevila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roldanillo Ucedo to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the game, Nacional's Joel Soldevila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Abad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. 90 minutes into the game, Demario Caceo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Casimiro Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Abella kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Nacional were the better team. Nacional's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
