With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melbourne 007's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brook Yard in the 25th minute. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Mcvey in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rodrigo Firmino hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Brook Yard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello skillfully saved the ball. Malcolm Mcvey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Carlos Eduardo Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vavá Recko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walmyr Proença to make the kick off. Brook Yard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the match Brendan Rennie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Eduardo Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Mcvey in the 70th minute of play. Blade King's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Eduardo Donatello firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zé Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasmine Kuch having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Melbourne 007's goal looked a bit too open when Vavá Recko came free, but Jasmine Kuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Eduardo Donatello got control of the ball when Blade King tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blade King who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Eduardo Donatello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Hortêncio Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Malcolm Mcvey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bilge Kağan Adem kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Jasmine Kuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gal Van in the 95th minute of the match. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Melbourne 007 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
