The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Malcolm Mcvey was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Carneiro in the 73rd minute of play forced Melbourne 007's goalkeeper Jasmine Kuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Katia Villalobos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nacional's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
