Edvin Vedå's late challenge caught a Polar Ice Caps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvin Vedå helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Polar Ice Caps booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Vedå didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stein Naas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Eron in the 15th minute of the match. Stein Naas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Stein Naas was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Maximiliano Eron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximiliano Eron really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. In the 81st minute, Maximiliano Eron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Maximiliano Eron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Legia Stavanger's zone, Petter Wikander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stein Naas came out of the goal and Petter Wikander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Maximiliano Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polar Ice Caps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Legia Stavanger's Stein Naas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Eron in the 96th minute of play. Polar Ice Caps's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
