David Tâbârnă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Henry Blom made a huge save. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Albert Nestor got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s zone, Maximiliano Eron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristinel Tiberian came out of the goal and Maximiliano Eron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Tâbârnă got free with Henry Blom in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Polar Ice Caps's zone, David Tâbârnă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Blom came out of the goal and David Tâbârnă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Maximiliano Eron fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polar Ice Caps's protests and gave Maximiliano Eron a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Maximiliano Eron got a free kick in the 34th minute. Petter Wikander kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Henry Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Tâbârnă in the 40th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximiliano Eron made a kick off. Horea Hristea hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Polar Ice Caps's Henry Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Chițu in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Dennis Malmberg got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC PIETROSUL -MM- defense, Sivert Sander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristinel Tiberian. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristinel Tiberian should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Maximiliano Eron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristinel Tiberian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Henry Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Tâbârnă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Polar Ice Caps was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Eron to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Eron came free, but Cristinel Tiberian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Polar Ice Caps's Petter Wikander quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Horea Hristea, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Bogdan Ştercă got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emanuel Tomulescu. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Maximiliano Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polar Ice Caps's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristinel Tiberian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Polar Ice Caps's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
