Polar Ice Caps's Henry Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Vielmann in the 43rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Enaut during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximiliano Eron to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Gläsel came free, but Henry Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in DJK Füchtel Vechta's zone, Maximiliano Eron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kai Hilljegerdes came out of the goal and Maximiliano Eron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Christoph Tiede. Maximiliano Eron took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kai Hilljegerdes. Kai Hilljegerdes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Polar Ice Caps getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jack Lundblad hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Stellan Sellberg got a free kick in the 81st minute. 90 minutes into the match, Polar Ice Caps's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Vielmann came free, but Henry Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Polar Ice Caps got a freekick which was hit by Jack Lundblad. Felix Agu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Polar Ice Caps's André Botvidsson got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Polar Ice Caps's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
