Teobaldo Muno ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to La Maquina 9-12-18's Venancio Etor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Erivaldo Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Muno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Leite came free, but Claudio Dantel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Muno in the 57th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Júlio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Hechter's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. La Maquina 9-12-18's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Luiz Gustavo Sanches scored to the left of an out of position Claudio Dantel, making the score, 1-3. Júlio Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Telo's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Juan Telo scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júlio Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juan Telo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Soares. Júlio Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
