In the 20th minute Gino Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artizar Melic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Luz came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Artizar Melic could save by the left post. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mateus Ardines hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Mateus Ardines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Teofilo Alcala fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Popolizio FBC's protests and gave Teofilo Alcala a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Teofilo Alcala got a free kick in the 40th minute. Artizar Melic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés Cunha's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateus Ardines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aldo Popolizio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moisés Cunha scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artizar Melic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iuri Santos was a little too slow when Aldo Popolizio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-2. The supporters of Deportivo Popolizio FBC booed when Club Sacode Football CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Enéas Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Artizar Melic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldo Popolizio took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iuri Santos. Iuri Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 87 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Salomone Freire. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Luz in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artizar Melic saved Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting behind. Elder Marinho hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Club Sacode Football CIMZ made a substitution. Felippe Amaral replaced Elder Marinho. A collision led to Club Sacode Football CIMZ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Elder Marinho hit a great ball. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
