Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arsenio Eudoxio made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Wiberg in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Janpier saved Defensores de Lombroso from getting behind. Chuck Ruff made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Diego Latorre sent off a good shot on target. Celso Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixt Pack in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Vinicio Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Stig-Ove Kjellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Wiberg in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Six Pac FC booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Latorre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Quique Hrabina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Stephansson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Charles Godholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Six Pac FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Lombroso the free kick. After 52 played minutes Six Pac FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Godholm. Chuck Ruff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Latorre in the 57th minute of play. Celso Janpier came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Six Pac FC's Leonard Stephansson. But to his dismay, Leonard Stephansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Defensores de Lombroso's Toto Belmonte was substituted for Santiago Hunfredo. 67 minutes into the match, Six Pac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Cedro came free, but Chuck Ruff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chuck Ruff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel-Angel Merentiel in the 68th minute of play. Chuck Ruff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Cedro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Six Pac FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Godholm. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Cedro in the 81st minute of play forced Six Pac FC's goalkeeper Chuck Ruff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chuck Ruff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Eudoxio's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When Defensores de Lombroso's Arsenio Eudoxio in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chuck Ruff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Defensores de Lombroso players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
