Sven Telkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Janpier having to interfere. In the 16th minute of the game, Vinicio Jayvier landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arda Bemmel during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FFC Merainies 03's Jean-Paul Schuiling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Eudoxio in the 30th minute of play. Jean-Paul Schuiling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lin Liang in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Lombroso's Miguel-Angel Merentiel got a free kick in the 40th minute. Celso Janpier was a little too slow when Sven Telkamp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. If Ramiro Cidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Arsenio Eudoxio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gert Korevaar to make the kick off. Arda Bemmel got his second yellow card in the match during the 50th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arda Bemmel hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Sven Telkamp made a precise shot to the right of Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 55 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Gerwin Zielman. Defensores de Lombroso's Toto Belmonte was substituted for Santiago Hunfredo. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Domingos Cedro replaced Diego Latorre. Celso Janpier didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FFC Merainies 03's Sven Telkamp shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Andre Israel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FFC Merainies 03's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Lombroso the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of FFC Merainies 03:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensores de Lombroso:s goal.
