Allan Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerwin Zielman in the 7th minute of the match. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Allan Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Telkamp in the 8th minute of play. The long shot by Edgar Lundin in the 10th minute really tested Jean-Paul Schuiling's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Lundin got free with Jean-Paul Schuiling in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerwin Zielman in the 14th minute of play. FFC Merainies 03's Jean-Paul Schuiling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Clementsson in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FFC Merainies 03's zone, Edgar Lundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Paul Schuiling came out of the goal and Edgar Lundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gert Korevaar sped through Lost Boys Sports Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Allan Ånger. 28 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Korevaar came free, but Allan Ånger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huub Harmsen kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Gerwin Zielman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerwin Zielman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Sven Telkamp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lost Boys Sports Academy's Allan Ånger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Greger Clementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Paul Schuiling having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Thomas Stigsson got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Greger Clementsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tim Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerwin Zielman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute of the game Edward Struik made a throw-in which Sven Telkamp played forward. Jean-Paul Schuiling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66thth minute of the game Edgar Lundin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FFC Merainies 03's Jean-Paul Schuiling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sven Telkamp came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FFC Merainies 03 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Telkamp couldn't finish the play. Gert Korevaar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Allan Ånger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jean-Paul Schuiling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Lundin in the 75th minute of play. After 81 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Gert Korevaar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Korevaar in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Ånger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gert Korevaar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Allan Ånger came out and tried to block the shot, but Gert Korevaar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 89th minute. When the match was over FFC Merainies 03 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lost Boys Sports Academy throughout the match.
