When Gelmiro Garantos fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Programayin's protests and gave Gelmiro Garantos a yellow card for diving instead. Gelmiro Garantos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Gerwin Zielman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inacio Bettencourt having to make a save. Sven Telkamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gert Korevaar struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Inacio Bettencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FFC Merainies 03. 12 minutes into the match, Programayin's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Telkamp came free, but Inacio Bettencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Colmenares lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Programayin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Colmenares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Gert Korevaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FFC Merainies 03's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Korevaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Sven Telkamp got a free kick in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerwin Zielman during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Programayin booed when FFC Merainies 03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerwin Zielman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Programayin's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Korevaar came free, but Inacio Bettencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Programayin's Inacio Bettencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Telkamp in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FFC Merainies 03's Sven Telkamp fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 37th minute Gert Korevaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inacio Bettencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, FFC Merainies 03's Gert Korevaar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inacio Bettencourt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Inacio Bettencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Korevaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Gerwin Zielman put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Inacio Bettencourt. After the first half FFC Merainies 03 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gert Korevaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 0-3 became the score in the 52nd minute when Gert Korevaar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Gert Korevaar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Inacio Bettencourt, 0-4. FFC Merainies 03's Gert Korevaar got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FFC Merainies 03's Arda Bemmel got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Programayin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Pecina to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Edward Struik. Jean-Paul Schuiling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eguen Catalan in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the FFC Merainies 03 defense, Ignado Luzuriaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Paul Schuiling. The FFC Merainies 03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Paul Schuiling should have stopped the shot. Inacio Bettencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Telkamp in the 81st minute of the match. Sven Telkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inacio Bettencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Telkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. Programayin's Inacio Bettencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Korevaar in the 84th minute of play. Gerwin Zielman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Inacio Bettencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Paul Schuiling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignado Luzuriaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gerwin Zielman was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gerwin Zielman hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Ignado Luzuriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Paul Schuiling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FFC Merainies 03's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
