Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John Guidetti took the kick off in the first half of the match. Justo Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Novella in the 4th minute of the match. Justo Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Åman in the 6th minute of play. Radomir Debowy kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Justo Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when John Guidetti came free, but Justo Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Formentera's Justo Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Skarkman in the 25th minute of play. Börje Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Vela in the 26th minute of play. Baxters Boys's Börje Albohm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Baxters Boys from getting a goal against them. After 38 minutes of play, Baxters Boys's Kevin Skarkman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justo Estefan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Formentera's Juan Su managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan-Olof Ahlgren in the 42 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Erik Lönn got free with Börje Albohm in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Baxters Boys were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Erik Lönn to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Juan Su got a free kick in the 56th minute. 0-2 became the score in the 61st minute when Uzay Gencalp elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Justo Estefan made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Uzay Gencalp sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Uzay Gencalp came free, but Justo Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Skarkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Justo Estefan made a huge save. Justo Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uzay Gencalp in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Ponciano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Poncio during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Poncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Su charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Su the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Juan Su hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Emanuel Dijmărescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 86 played minutes, Baxters Boys's Kevin Skarkman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justo Estefan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baxters Boys reached it. Staffan Åman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Justo Estefan came out and tried to block the shot, but Staffan Åman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 90th minute. In the 94th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Su to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Baxters Boys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Formentera.
