The referee showed Tiniebra Maestre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Loco Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiniebra Maestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Lekubegi Bollo came free, but Rolf Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guntademaro Goyenechea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Irigoyen in the 51st minute of play forced Loco Team FC's goalkeeper Camilo Sesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Sesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Armando Labarass short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Rolf Holmgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camilo Sesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 59th minute of the match. Loco Team FC's Armando Labaras pulled a muscle in his back after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 62 minutes into the game, Shi Fan Rong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. General Velásquez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loco Team FC the free kick. Loco Team FC made a substitution. Guerau Centeno replaced Armando Labaras. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Shi Fan Rong got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 68th match minute, Loco Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lekubegi Bollo to maneuver through the defense. General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella was substituted for Apolo Irigoyen.
