The referee ignored Leeton United FC's protests and gave Blade Pincini a yellow card for diving instead. Faustino Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blade Pincini in the 8th minute of the match. Davey Haeberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Erauso in the 10th minute of play. Danilo Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Jairo Oihenarte's late challenge caught a Leeton United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Oihenarte helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jairo Oihenarte hit a great ball. Faustino Markel made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Blade Pincini sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes, Brown Wilde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leeton United FC and the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brown Wilde hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Jairo Oihenarte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Davey Haeberle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olimpo de Bahia Blanca reached it. Clay Cudmore's late challenge caught a Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clay Cudmore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Clay Cudmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Zacarias Pacho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davey Haeberle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Faustino Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blade Pincini in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leeton United FC's Paul Paull got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Zacarias Pacho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Davey Haeberle. Leeton United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With 47 minutes on the clock, Javier Gutxi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 48th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. The Leeton United FC fans' excitement grew in the 49th match minute when Leeton United FC's Blade Pincini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blade Pincini was the one to do the kick off. Faustino Markel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th match minute, Leeton United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blade Pincini to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes, Leeton United FC's Brown Wilde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Markel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leeton United FC reached it. After some careless play in the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca defense, Blade Pincini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Markel. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Markel should have stopped the shot. Paul Paull took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Markel. Faustino Markel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 87th minute, Jervis Nurthen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Gervasio Xabel got a free kick in the 91st minute. 98 minutes into the match, Paul Paull had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Markel. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Paull was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leeton United FC.
