An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Lind in the 15th minute of play forced Gutenberg's goalkeeper Sérgio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Hasund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gutenberg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Nicholas in the 22nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Joaquin Gallardo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gutenberg's Sérgio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Arenberg in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Gutenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Oxel to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Erlantz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Gutenberg got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Erlantz. Tor Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Bento struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Hans Hasund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gutenberg. Karl Arhenius kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Gutenberg getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Abel Gines hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor Ahlbom got free with Sérgio Romero in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sérgio Romero was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Tor Ahlbom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tor Ahlbom really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl Arhenius made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Benedicto Bento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Hans Hasund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gutenberg's John Rambo was substituted for Benedicto Bento. After 67 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Karl Arhenius made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Joaquin Gallardo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gutenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Gallardo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gutenberg booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Blomqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Nicholas has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 77th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Manuel Nicholas sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Hans Hasund threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Manuel Nicholas this time. Gutenberg were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Sundborn IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Nicholas took the corner. The corner led Gutenberg's Manuel Nicholas to fire away a dangerous shot which Hans Hasund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st minute Karl Arhenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sundborn IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute Joaquin Gallardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Hasund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sundborn IF's Hans Hasund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
