Spectators: 8015 (Terracing: 6013, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Blade Pincini got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Blade Pincini came free, but Rolf Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Blade Pincini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolf Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Apolo Irigoyen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Davey Haeberle made a huge save. Carson Sobezak hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Davey Haeberle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Jorge Vicente Squella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Velásquez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Leeton United FC booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Vicente Squella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carson Sobezak kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Manuelo Oñez y Loyola struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Davey Haeberle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for General Velásquez. Davey Haeberle was a little too slow when Apolo Irigoyen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 33rd minute, Manuelo Oñez y Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Carson Sobezak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolf Holmgren skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Leeton United FC booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jorge Vicente Squella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carson Sobezak in the 45th minute of play. Davey Haeberle was a little too slow when Apolo Irigoyen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Irigoyen to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dale Sobezak. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Flavio Chacaltana got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Apolo Irigoyen came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the General Velásquez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Irigoyen couldn't finish the play. Davey Haeberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 59th minute of play. Rolf Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jervis Nurthen, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some careless play in the Leeton United FC defense, Apolo Irigoyen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davey Haeberle. The Leeton United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davey Haeberle should have stopped the shot. Jorge Vicente Squella took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davey Haeberle. Davey Haeberle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 77th match minute, Leeton United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benard Millar to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Irigoyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davey Haeberle having to interfere. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Cardoso hit a great ball. Adam Ansola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davey Haeberle having to make a save. 88 minutes into the match, Jorge Vicente Squella notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Leeton United FC's Davey Haeberle. Davey Haeberle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to General Velásquez getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bernardo Genovesi hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Apolo Irigoyen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Davey Haeberle was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Davey Haeberle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Vicente Squella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carson Sobezak got free with Rolf Holmgren in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that General Velásquez were the better team. General Velásquez's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
