Camilo Sesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koos Keupink, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. De Pelgrims's Hendrik Adriaanse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Labaras in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Frits Beuneker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Loco Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiniebra Maestre to maneuver through the defense. Ferdi van der Schaaf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Loco Team FC's zone, Frits Beuneker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Sesto came out of the goal and Frits Beuneker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hendrik Adriaanse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Labaras's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Ferdi van der Schaaf got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute Armando Labaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Adriaanse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lekubegi Bollo in the 37th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Hendrik Adriaanse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koos Keupink struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Camilo Sesto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Pelgrims. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loco Team FC reached it. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
