After 13 played minutes Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Chale. 20 minutes into the match, Danilo Chale notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sundborn IF's Hans Hasund. Hans Hasund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Arenberg to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Chale came free, but Hans Hasund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Danilo Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Markel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Lind in the 41st minute. When Staffan Albäck fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Staffan Albäck a yellow card for diving instead. Staffan Albäck kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Vedillo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Baladi got free with Hans Hasund in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faustino Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Ahlbom in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute Karl Arhenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Faustino Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Arenberg in the 68th minute of play. Sven Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the match, Karl Arhenius notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Faustino Markel. Faustino Markel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sundborn IF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
