Spectators: 7988 (Terracing: 5992, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny van den Hoogen got free with Rolf Holmgren in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hendrik Adriaanse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 4th minute of play. Apolo Irigoyen took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hendrik Adriaanse. Hendrik Adriaanse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Teofan Bozadzhiyski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Kelvin de Boer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hendrik Adriaanse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 14th minute of play. Kelvin de Boer charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kelvin de Boer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes De Pelgrims got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin de Boer. 24 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danny van den Hoogen. General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Beuneker in the 26th minute of play. Rolf Holmgren had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Frits Beuneker from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hendrik Adriaanse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Irigoyen in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, De Pelgrims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny van den Hoogen to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Ferdi van der Schaaf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Pelgrims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi van der Schaaf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hendrik Adriaanse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Adam Ansola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hendrik Adriaanse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hendrik Adriaanse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Irigoyen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The long shot by Manuelo Oñez y Loyola in the 52nd minute really tested Hendrik Adriaanse's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Jorge Vicente Squella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Apolo Irigoyen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Adriaanse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Ansola came free, but Hendrik Adriaanse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Vicente Squellas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Hendrik Adriaanse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Apolo Irigoyen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Hendrik Adriaanse 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Manuelo Oñez y Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Irigoyen in the 84th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Hendrik Adriaanse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Irigoyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hendrik Adriaanse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrik Adriaanse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuelo Oñez y Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Ansola during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Adam Ansola got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded General Velásquez left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than De Pelgrims.
