With his leg Laércio Sá managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when LiBeRiA F.C.'s Cornelio Constancio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 9 minutes into the game, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Salva Moresco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laércio Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 15 minutes, Afonso Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Psiu! and the LiBeRiA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, one of Psiu!:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Psiu!. Cornelio Constancio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 20th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Castro in the 26th minute of play forced LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eustaquio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Damaso Reyes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laércio Sá was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Psiu!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mané Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Sengrat having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Damaso Reyes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sydney Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. Damaso Reyes scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salva Moresco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Psiu!'s goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Reyes came free, but Laércio Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Sengrat came out of the goal and Sydney Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Damaso Reyes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Psiu!'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Psiu! may have spent more time on the ball, but LiBeRiA F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
