Benjamin Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Sá having to interfere. Laércio Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Cornelio Constancio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laércio Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Urbano Alzola lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Psiu! fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Laércio Sá had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Damaso Reyes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Damaso Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to LiBeRiA F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fermin Porfiro hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Maicon Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Damaso Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Sá came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by LiBeRiA F.C.'s Cornelio Constancio. But to his dismay, Cornelio Constancio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mané Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Sengrat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Mané Castro made the kick off in the second half. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Eustaquio Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Castro in the 52nd minute of play. When Mané Castro came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Psiu! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Castro couldn't finish the play. In the 59th match minute, LiBeRiA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Porfiro to maneuver through the defense. Eustaquio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Benjamin Frutos struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Laércio Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LiBeRiA F.C.. When LiBeRiA F.C.'s Damaso Reyes in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Psiu!'s goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Damaso Reyes took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Laércio Sá to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in LiBeRiA F.C.'s zone, Raúl Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Sengrat came out of the goal and Raúl Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laércio Sá was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Damaso Reyes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damaso Reyes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 94 minutes, Raúl Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Psiu! and the LiBeRiA F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Psiu! getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Raúl Nascimento hit a great ball. The Psiu! manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing LiBeRiA F.C. to win.
