The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciro Niguel scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laércio Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th match minute, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pol Fernández to maneuver through the defense. Adam Bareiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laércio Sá having to make a save. Laércio Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Niguel in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Gonçalves in the 19th minute of play forced DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's goalkeeper Albano Tallia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Patricio Raymond got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Mario Cesaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Laércio Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the game, Maicon Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psiu!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 the free kick. A collision led to Psiu! getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Maicon Sousa hit a great ball. Raúl Nascimento hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Adam Bareiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Laércio Sá made a huge save. In the 39th minute, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Ciro Niguel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 42nd minute of the match, Mario Cesaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laércio Sá saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 51stth minute of the game Adam Bareiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s Laércio Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56 minutes, Mario Cesaro made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Psiu!'s Laércio Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Adam Bareiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andres Feo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Urbano Alzola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Psiu! and the DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th minute, Urbano Alzola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Psiu!'s zone, Adam Bareiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laércio Sá came out of the goal and Adam Bareiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 minutes of play, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Ciro Niguel made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laércio Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Cesaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laércio Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Cesaro ran back to his position shaking his head. When Sydney Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Psiu! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 could leave the field as winners, despite Psiu! having more of the ball for most of the match.
