The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stavros Pourliotopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stavros Pourliotopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Stavros Pourliotopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saronida FC's Petros Ntonas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Devan in the 6th minute of play. After 9 minutes Saronida FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sajeev Chong who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Afiq Choy advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clive Tan in the 15th minute of play forced Saronida FC's goalkeeper Petros Ntonas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniz Shyan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simos Zacharenios in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shah Henderson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saronida FC's goalkeeper Petros Ntonas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Clive Tan fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oakham's protests and gave Clive Tan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Clive Tan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Oakham got a freekick which was hit by Ang Pieng. Petros Ntonas came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Mark Devan. But to his dismay, Mark Devan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Saronida FC defense, Mark Devan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petros Ntonas. The Saronida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petros Ntonas should have stopped the shot. Petros Ntonas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Devan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Saronida FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oakham were winning 0-4.
The wind increased when Antonis Vrazilianos made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Saronida FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sotiris Pavlidis hit a great ball. Petros Ntonas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarb Lum in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Samuel Hongyi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oakham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saronida FC the free kick. Samuel Hongyi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Shah Henderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Vrazilianos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Saronida FC's Petros Ntonas got control of the ball when Daniz Shyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match, Clive Tan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petros Ntonas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Shah Henderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonis Vrazilianos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Oakham's Shah Henderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Siafakas in the 75th minute of play. Clive Tans short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Petros Ntonas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute of the match Oakham got a corner. Saronida FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sajeev Chong ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 78th minute Samuel Hongyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Ntonas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Simos Zacharenios got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Devan got free with Petros Ntonas in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clive Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Petros Ntonas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Antonis Vrazilianos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shah Henderson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saronida FC's Petros Ntonas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Saronida FC from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Sarb Lum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Ntonas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Tan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Petros Ntonas made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Tan came free, but Petros Ntonas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Saronida FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oakham's performance. The match ended with a win for Oakham.
