The supporters of FC Rebel booed when Oakham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarb Lum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ando Roosaare came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Clive Tan. But to his dismay, Clive Tan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Riivo Püha to make the kick off. With a little luck, Oakham's Shah Henderson got control of the ball when Riivo Püha tried to sneak it across the goal line.
