The corner led !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Belmiro Lastras to fire away a dangerous shot which Domingos Savier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, Gustavo Isazi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andres Salan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Sotero Quiroga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Savier was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Andres Salan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the !Pabellon Ourense C.F. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Northern California.
