In the 30th match minute, AC Pitt Bier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Bittencourt to maneuver through the defense. Hieronim Literski came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zé Pedro Valadares could save by the left post. Zé Pedro Valadares made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Pavel Nedvěd sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of AC Pitt Bier booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul van Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Heebels in the 52nd minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
