Memed Gustomi hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's Hub van Loo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sonny Sugiarto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sonny Sugiarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hub van Loo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Pedro Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonggo Abidin in the 15th minute. In the 19th play minute Bonggo Abidin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zé Pedro Valadares. 1-0. Hub van Loo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Sugiarto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Zé Pedro Valadares got control of the ball when Bonggo Abidin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bonggo Abidin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Zé Pedro Valadares made a huge save. After 34 minutes of play, Bleber FC's Bonggo Abidin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Pedro Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Valadares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bonggo Abidin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Zé Pedro Valadares made a huge save. After 46 minutes, Jaap Reitsma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ágætis Byrjun and the Bleber FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hub van Loo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bleber FC's zone, Hub van Loo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Sugiarto came out of the goal and Hub van Loo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonggo Abidin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ágætis Byrjun's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucien de Ridder in the 59th minute. Hub van Loo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sonny Sugiarto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ágætis Byrjun. Bleber FC's Sonny Sugiarto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Bleber FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Huiting got free with Sonny Sugiarto in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Tonny Bas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tonny Bas fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ágætis Byrjun's protests and gave Tonny Bas a yellow card for diving instead. Coky Sudarno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 86 minutes of play, Bleber FC's Coky Sudarno made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Pedro Valadares was left in no man's land by his defense there!
