After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Gustavo Isazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northern California's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Isazi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes, Dale Cabezon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hijos de Doña Beija and the Northern California players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dale Cabezon kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Isazi was the one to do the kick off. Luciano Goizeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustavo Isazi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Lano having to make a save. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
