With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Zăhărescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Roland Warka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvinho Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Warka. Cristian Vlaicu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Florin Zăhărescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute Nestor Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Zăhărescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martins Souza Pereira in the 47th minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Florin Zăhărescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Warka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC MeHigh getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Dante couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Carlinhos Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Zăhărescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Frédson Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Strungă in the 72nd minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvinho Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Arantes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor von der Schulenburg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvinho Berger. Capivariano F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nabucodonosor von der Schulenburg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when Capivariano F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Raúl Eger fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Florin Zăhărescu, passed just outside the right post. Silvinho Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Strungă in the 96th minute of the match.
