Congo Bongo's Diego Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Neto in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Wilfredo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Vargas came free, but Diego Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Congo Bongo's Diego Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Neto in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Jesco came free, but Diego Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Neto took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Ceresso. Diego Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Constantino Galindo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Congo Bongo's Diego Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Vargas in the 27th minute of play. Diego Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Neto in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Vargas in the 39th minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Diego Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Jesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Neto came free, but Diego Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Jesco hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Vargas to strike the kick off in the second half. Braulio Neto didn't quite understand what happened when in the 61 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Diego Ceresso was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Wilfredo Vargas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilfredo Vargas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Constantino Galindo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Congo Bongo's Jonatan Bortzaioriz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Diego Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Vargas in the 79th minute of play. In the 88th minute Victoriano Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoran Zahrádka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuberbühler FC's Elvio Crispo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zuberbühler FC played a much better game than Congo Bongo and deserved their victory. The Congo Bongo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
