The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletas Campesinos F.C.. Israel Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho de Mendonça in the 21st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Afonso Paraíba took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Israel Bortzaioriz to make any attempt to save it. Israel Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Israel Bortzaioriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting a goal against them. Toninho de Mendonça took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Bortzaioriz. Israel Bortzaioriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Paraíba in the 48th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Israel Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joélson de Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Feliberto Gabino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube do Remo MZ the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Atletas Campesinos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Gabino to maneuver through the defense. The Clube do Remo MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 81 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Txaran. Luiz Fernando Britto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Israel Bortzaioriz. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Toninho de Mendonça hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match.
