The Zuberbühler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Virgilio Gonzales got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Allan da Silveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zoran Zahrádka. The goal made the score 1-1. Tiaguinho Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Neto in the 14th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Neto. Clube do Remo MZ's Joélson de Carvalho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zuberbühler FC. 21 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's Braulio Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiaguinho Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zoran Zahrádka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan da Silveira in the 22nd minute of the match. Clube do Remo MZ were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joélson de Carvalho took the corner. The corner led to Clube do Remo MZ's Toninho de Mendonça getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tiaguinho Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zuberbühler FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Braulio Neto in the 28th minute. Zoran Zahrádka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson de Carvalho came free, but Zoran Zahrádka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Crispo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Britto to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Neto struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joélson de Carvalho was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Gonzales. Clube do Remo MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. Afonso Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Britto got a throw-in 73 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Toninho de Mendonça. In the 74th minute Wilfredo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zoran Zahrádka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson de Carvalho in the 76th minute of play.
