Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joélson de Carvalho took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Paraíba in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paco Cedeño saved Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting behind. Toninho de Mendonça took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paco Cedeño. Paco Cedeño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Feliberto Gabino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Joélson de Carvalho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paco Cedeño didn't even have to move. Paco Cedeño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho de Mendonça in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Clube do Remo MZ booed when Atletas Campesinos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Pabla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Clube do Remo MZ's Toninho de Mendonça suffered a concussion after 27 minutes and had to leave the field. After 27 minutes, Honorio Monte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletas Campesinos F.C. and the Clube do Remo MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Honorio Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joélson de Carvalho came free, but Paco Cedeño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco Cedeño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paco Cedeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan da Silveira in the 35th minute of the match. Paco Cedeño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Maciel's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Ismael Mandrak hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Ovidio Pabla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiaguinho Netto. Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson de Carvalho in the 46th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Paco Cedeño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Allan da Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paco Cedeño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Jakobe made a kick off. Gernando Maciel hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Eustaquio Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Jakobe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paco Cedeño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson de Carvalho in the 55th minute. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paco Cedeño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Atletas Campesinos F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Paco Cedeño got control of the ball when Hélder Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Allan da Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Paco Cedeño, making the score, 0-3. Paco Cedeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Joélson de Carvalho took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paco Cedeño. Paco Cedeño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s zone, Allan da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paco Cedeño came out of the goal and Allan da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walmyr Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Honorio Monte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiaguinho Netto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s David Abeijon got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes, Clube do Remo MZ's Joélson de Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paco Cedeño came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube do Remo MZ reached it. Joélson de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Cedeño having to interfere. When the match was over Clube do Remo MZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atletas Campesinos F.C. throughout the match.
