Iwo Kalak was slow to take the kick. During this time Tribos's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Jaroslaw Winograd heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nicolas Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Eger in the 8th minute of play. Silvinho Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcello Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adélio Pinhal came free, but Silvinho Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcello Lewandowski in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Xande Cabezudo made a precise shot to the right of Silvinho Berger. Capivariano F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcello Lewandowski came free, but Silvinho Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcello Lewandowski in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvinho Berger saved Capivariano F.C. from getting behind. After 22 minutes, Marcello Lewandowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tribos and the Capivariano F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Capivariano F.C.'s Silvinho Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcello Lewandowski in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Xande Cabezudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvinho Berger. Capivariano F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xande Cabezudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Marcello Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Tribos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcello Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Tribos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Ucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni Donato took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolas Trigo. Tribos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcello Lewandowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvinho Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcello Lewandowski ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Dante got free with Nicolas Trigo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martins Souza Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Trigo having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Dante made a kick off. Nicolas Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Tribos's Marcello Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvinho Berger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tribos's Ronaldo Saldanha was substituted for Marcel Urbano. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tribos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Capivariano F.C.. Doni Donato stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicolas Trigo. 1-3. In the 70th match minute, Tribos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xande Cabezudo to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martins Souza Pereira in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Capivariano F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Frédson Galvão hit a great ball. Raúl Eger hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Martins Souza Pereira took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Trigo. Nicolas Trigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. A collision led to Capivariano F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Frédson Galvão hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Tribos's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Fonseca came free, but Nicolas Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xande Cabezudo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Tribos getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Xande Cabezudo hit a great ball. Nicolas Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Donato in the 93rd minute of the match. The Capivariano F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tribos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
