Geovanni Pinho came out of the goal and Marcello Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tribos's Xande Cabezudo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Macaco F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcello Lewandowski came free, but Geovanni Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcello Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Tribos were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

It was a well-played corner which Zé Augusto Paiva managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
