Timmy Jernberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ubaldo Rio fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Albinegro's protests and gave Ubaldo Rio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Ubaldo Rio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Håkan Wahlnäs in the 20th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Martinez in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Bullen's goalkeeper Timmy Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ulf Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulf Hedling in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitar Ivankov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Defensores del Albinegro's Dimitar Ivankov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Åberg in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Defensores del Albinegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Orzaize to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Loyarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Adrian Martinez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Albinegro and the FC Bullen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manfred Andreasson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Arnaldo Justin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timmy Jernberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Ubaldo Rio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Albinegro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Rio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute Defensores del Albinegro were awarded a corner. Arnaldo Justin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Defensores del Albinegro's Arnaldo Justin to fire away a dangerous shot which Timmy Jernberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Wilfredo Orlondo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Albinegro's protests and gave Wilfredo Orlondo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Bullen's Tommy Hellqvist got a free kick in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Edmund Püss managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bullen's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Püss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitar Ivankov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Åberg in the 78th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Justin's late challenge caught a FC Bullen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Justin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Arnaldo Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arsenio Behe kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dimitar Ivankov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthon Åberg in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Bullen's Anthon Åberg got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ulf Hedling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, FC Bullen failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
