The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikael Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Yerko Papič notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lautaro L.P.'s Jesus Emilianu. Jesus Emilianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Ruiz Feo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaspar Babul, 1-1. In the 25th minute, Honesto Palou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Emilianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurín Angulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Max Duro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Lautaro L.P.'s Marco Colipi broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 32nd match minute, Barrio Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rúben Sacadura to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro L.P.'s Marco Colipi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gaspar Babul but with some difficulty. In the 35th minute, Ruiz Feo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gaspar Babul. The goal made the score 2-1. Mikael Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Babul having to interfere. Barrio Norte FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Ruiz Feo scored to the left of an out of position Gaspar Babul, making the score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Paraense in the 43rd minute of play forced Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Jesus Emilianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Colipi's late challenge caught a Barrio Norte FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Colipi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lautaro L.P.'s Marco Colipi got a free kick in the 45th minute. Jesus Emilianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Paraense in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honesto Palou was the one to do the kick off. Jesus Emilianu made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Gilson Paraense sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Babul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinos La Rocca, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gilson Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jesus Emilianu made a huge save. Vinos La Rocca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Babul having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Marco Colipi. After 75 minutes, Gaston Antonis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrio Norte FC and the Lautaro L.P. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Mikael Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesus Emilianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honesto Palou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Ruiz Feo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Babul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Vinos La Rocca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lautaro L.P.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vinos La Rocca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Babul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Vinos La Rocca. In the 95th minute, Maurín Angulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Ruiz Feo. Lautaro L.P.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
