Diego Polenta kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Israel Williams kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Mejía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Opincaru in the 16th minute of the match. Jose Saenz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Aldo Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA LUZ F.C.'s protests and gave Aldo Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. When Jose Saenz came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the OROTINENSE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Saenz couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Orozco came free, but Luís Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Artime ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Ostots. Jacinto Ostots yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Jacinto Ostots made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gonzalo Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to LA LUZ F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aldo Furtado hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Jacinto Ostots had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Artime. The crowd rose to their feet as LA LUZ F.C.'s Gualterio Quilo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacinto Ostots. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Opincaru in the 37th minute of play. Jacinto Ostots made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gonzalo Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Quilo in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Artime came free, but Jacinto Ostots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Fausto Johans replaced Marciano Maore. The wind increased when Iordache Opincaru made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Artime in the 61st minute of play. Jacinto Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Artime in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jose Saenz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Ricardo Orozco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Mejía came out of the goal and Ricardo Orozco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Quilo in the 71st minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Jacinto Ostots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save LA LUZ F.C. from getting a goal against them. Jose Saenz scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Mejía, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacinto Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Johans in the 85th minute of the match. Jacinto Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Quilo in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Johans came free, but Jacinto Ostots reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, OROTINENSE's Sigvald Birkborg got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, LA LUZ F.C.'s Diego Polenta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Ostots came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LA LUZ F.C. reached it. Jacinto Ostots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Artime, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 95 minutes of play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Fausto Johans made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Ostots was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LA LUZ F.C. had won after a very even match.
