Sérgio Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Doicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Dacian in the 19th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Sérgio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Rasnita's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Amaya came free, but Matei Boldișor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Marcos Abellan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Los Gallos booed when Rasnita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Pârcălab didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Marcos Abellan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Boldișor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Amaya to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muni Cero to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gipuzkoa Chamochin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Dacian in the 55th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Sérgio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Gallos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Matei Boldișor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Rasnita's Matei Boldișor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Rasnita from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Primitivo Tibalt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Tănăsie. When Cazimir Daraban fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rasnita's protests and gave Cazimir Daraban a yellow card for diving instead. 88 minutes into the game, one of Rasnita:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Matei Boldișor, was totally fooled by Los Gallos's Marcos Abellan, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marcos Abellan might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matei Boldișor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Abellan ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnoldo Amaya's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matei Boldișor firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 94th match minute, Los Gallos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doroteo Cameno to maneuver through the defense. The Rasnita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Gallos's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Gallos.
