Zarco Bandeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gondor FC™. Belimir Gondolf got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Amar Amautović. 18 minutes into the match, Gondor FC™'s goalkeeper Tahir Srna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noel Tinoco. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Rubim Jesus got a free kick in the 19th minute. MZ Fénix's Zarco Bandeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elfar Elrond in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Nuno Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tahir Srna. Gondor FC™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Noel Tinoco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tahir Srna was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Gondor FC™'s Tahir Srna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Gondor FC™ from getting a goal against them. Zarco Bandeira came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gondor FC™'s Bard Bowman. But to his dismay, Bard Bowman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tahir Srna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Tinoco in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belimir Gondolf during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gondor FC™ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Belimir Gondolf hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Wilson Pestana got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elfar Elrond was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Belimir Gondolf in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MZ Fénix's Noel Castilho. Zarco Bandeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bard Bowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the game Belimir Gondolf made a throw-in which Mersad Imširović played forward. In the 61st minute, Belimir Gondolf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Amar Amautović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarco Bandeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gray Gondolf was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gondor FC™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Elfar Elrond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zarco Bandeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when Gondor FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mersad Imširović didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Gondor FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mersad Imširović to maneuver through the defense. Gondor FC™'s Šećer Pejović was substituted for Bard Bowman. A collision led to Gondor FC™ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mersad Imširović hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiz Joksimović came free, but Zarco Bandeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gondor FC™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amar Amautović in the 87th minute. Lázaro Caldas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Šećer Pejović took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Zarco Bandeira to make any attempt to save it. After 97 minutes, Šećer Pejović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gondor FC™ and the MZ Fénix players grew even worse after the yellow card.
