Spectators: 8045 (Terracing: 6035, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fidel Dimas started the match with the kick off. In the 7thth minute of the game Marcos Abellan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Delfines's Quique Iglesias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Abellan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Quique Iglesias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Abellan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quique Iglesias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Marcos Abellan made a precise shot to the right of Quique Iglesias. Los Delfines's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Los Gallos's Arnoldo Amaya in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Quique Iglesias guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Quique Iglesias was a little too slow when Marcos Abellan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-0. Fidel Dimas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gipuzkoa Chamochin hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Froilan Kimetz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sérgio Goycochea. Los Gallos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. Quique Iglesias made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Marcos Abellan sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Amaya was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes Los Delfines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Muni Cero who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tom Misaki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Delfines's Quique Iglesias did a great save. Arnoldo Amaya charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Amaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sérgio Goycochea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomás Domeka. Ciriaco Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Goycochea having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Los Gallos's Marcos Abellan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quique Iglesias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Dimas got free with Sérgio Goycochea in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Amaya in the 66th minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Quique Iglesias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Cresconio in the 69th minute of play forced Los Gallos's goalkeeper Sérgio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Delfines's goalkeeper Quique Iglesias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Gallos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Muni Cero in the 72nd minute. Muni Cero made a great header on Los Gallos's corner, it was just that Los Delfines's Quique Iglesias managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcos Abellan struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Quique Iglesias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Gallos. Arnoldo Amaya took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quique Iglesias. Quique Iglesias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Marcos Abellan scored 7-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quique Iglesias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Gallos's Sérgio Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Cresconio in the 85th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Arnoldo Amaya put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Quique Iglesias. In the 91st minute, Arnoldo Amaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Gallos's Muni Cero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Delfines. When Serafino Firman fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Delfines's protests and gave Serafino Firman a yellow card for diving instead. Serafino Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Quique Iglesias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Abellan, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Gallos fully deserved thier win.
