The tension between the Les Pionniers de Touraine and the Strömsbro IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivar Albohm had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Jean-Pascal Berthelot's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Strömsbro IF's Gunnar Bergstedt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Norbert Krieger, made in the 13th minute of the game. Strömsbro IF's Ivar Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigue Davoust in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Blomkvist came free, but Régis Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Les Pionniers de Touraine's Régis Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Hellström in the 35th minute of play. Ivar Albohm came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Pionniers de Touraine's Ibrahim Chapalain. But to his dismay, Ibrahim Chapalain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jean-Pascal Berthelot kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Régis Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Hellström in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Les Pionniers de Touraine's zone, Paul Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Bastian came out of the goal and Paul Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Hellström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Régis Bastian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Hellström. Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigue Davoust, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match, Paul Hellström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Régis Bastian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Régis Bastian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Hellström in the 72nd minute. Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Castex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Castex came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Christian Castex got a free kick in the 77th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigue Davoust came free, but Ivar Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
