After some careless play in the SS SuperSonics defense, Börge Kristiansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyprian Podolski. The SS SuperSonics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyprian Podolski should have stopped the shot. After 42 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Zukowski. After the first half Strömsbro IF were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cyprian Podolski made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Börge Kristiansson sent off a good shot on target.
