The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hayyam Kebir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cheeky Nuts United's Cent Haugsvær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Curea in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Curea in the 10th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Cent Haugsvær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Milde made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MasterBets's Mircea Mardarie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Eftimescu in the 14th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Cent Haugsvær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigore Eftimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stian Systad kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Cheeky Nuts United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Stian Systad hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Hayyam Kebir came free, but Cent Haugsvær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Mugurel Curea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheeky Nuts United's Cent Haugsvær was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Mugurel Curea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cent Haugsvær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MasterBets booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stian Hammeren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cent Haugsvær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugurel Curea in the 43rd minute of the match. Cent Haugsvær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Curea, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Ken Nordtveit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheeky Nuts United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MasterBets the free kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mugurel Curea to make the kick off. MasterBets's Mircea Mardarie managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kent Milde in the 55 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cheeky Nuts United's Stian Systad got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Mugurel Curea came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the MasterBets fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugurel Curea couldn't finish the play. Mugurel Curea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Cheeky Nuts United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stian Systad to maneuver through the defense. Cheeky Nuts United's Cent Haugsvær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Curea in the 63rd minute of play. Mugurel Curea struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Cent Haugsvær didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MasterBets. Kent Milde got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Albert Føreland. Mugurel Cureas short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Cent Haugsvær to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 73 minutes Cheeky Nuts United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gică Chifan who took care of the corner kick. Mircea Mardarie was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Mugurel Curea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Curea came free, but Cent Haugsvær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Dorel Isăcescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MasterBets made a substitution. Cristian Pintilie replaced Mugurel Curea. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Cristian Pintilie managed to get in a good position for a shot. MasterBets's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Pintilie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cent Haugsvær breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cristian Pintilie sped through Cheeky Nuts United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cent Haugsvær. Cristian Pintilie took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cent Haugsvær. Cent Haugsvær dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the final whistle sounded MasterBets left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cheeky Nuts United.
