SS SuperSonics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Pionniers de Touraine the free kick. After 6 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Leon Polakowski. In the 7th minute Ibrahim Chapalain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Rodrigue Davoust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Christian Castex put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cyprian Podolski. After 17 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Plucinik. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Christian Castex managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Pionniers de Touraine's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Castex was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyprian Podolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the SS SuperSonics defense, Ibrahim Chapalain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyprian Podolski. The SS SuperSonics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyprian Podolski should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Gucci Gangstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Régis Bastian was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SS SuperSonics. After the first half Les Pionniers de Touraine were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gucci Gangstad made the kick off in the second half. SS SuperSonics's Cyprian Podolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigue Davoust in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigue Davoust came free, but Cyprian Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match, Christian Castex got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cyprian Podolski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 69th minute of the match, Rodrigue Davoust tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cyprian Podolski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Christian Castex received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cyprian Podolski came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Castex slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in SS SuperSonics's zone, Ibrahim Chapalain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyprian Podolski came out of the goal and Ibrahim Chapalain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Castex in the 82nd minute of play forced SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper Cyprian Podolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Pazura's late challenge caught a Les Pionniers de Touraine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Pazura helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Les Pionniers de Touraine booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Pazura didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ibrahim Chapalain during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Rodrigue Davoust rounded SS SuperSonics's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. After 95 minutes, Ludomir Plucinik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SS SuperSonics and the Les Pionniers de Touraine players grew even worse after the yellow card. Les Pionniers de Touraine's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
