Robert Söderlund kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 minutes, Orlando Monte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DESTROY and the Nova Erechim - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DESTROY. Amadeo Rufo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by DESTROY's Armando Maradona. But to his dismay, Armando Maradona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Robert Söderlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute of the match, Armando Maradona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeo Rufo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 21 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Maradona came free, but Amadeo Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egemen Özbek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurids Baylund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurids Baylund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amadeo Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Rufo was a little too slow when Brennan Johnson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edin Džeko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, DESTROY's Laurids Baylund got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Maradona in the 55th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Söderlund hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Robert Söderlund hit a great ball. DESTROY's Laurids Baylund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save DESTROY from getting a goal against them. Guilherme Peres hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Santos Borre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Rufo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Laurids Baylund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Peres in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Söderlund in the 77th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Söderlund in the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Guilherme Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurids Baylund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Edin Džeko could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Laurids Baylund however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute Santos Borre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurids Baylund made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Diguinho Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. Dário Goiano took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurids Baylund. Laurids Baylund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
