Hernan Dorronsoro was slow to take the kick. During this time Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Elano in the 10th minute of play forced Absoliut's goalkeeper Vaclovas Jurkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Tod Elano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus. Vaclovas Jurkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaclovas Jurkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Dorronsoro in the 29th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Aras Kadys. 37 minutes into the match, Absoliut's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Elano came free, but Vaclovas Jurkus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Absoliut getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gražvydas Vaitiekus hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Marta Poom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdas Ivanauskas. With 45 minutes on the clock, Gvidas Daulys commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Absoliut fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Vaclovas Jurkus had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Hernan Dorronsoro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hernan Dorronsoro scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaclovas Jurkus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Absoliut players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Dorronsoro made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Absoliut got a freekick which was hit by Redas Ždanys. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hernan Dorronsoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Dorronsoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaclovas Jurkus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Azpeitia kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Marta Poom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tauras Dovydėnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Tauras Dovydėnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Marta Poom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marta Poom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tauras Dovydėnas in the 83rd minute of the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Marcelinho Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Hernan Dorronsoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara and the Absoliut players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Dorronsoro to maneuver through the defense.
